Aerial Drone Farm, Field and Rural Land Inspections in Hampshire
Andover Drone Photography provides aerial farm, field and rural land inspections across Hampshire and Wiltshire using high-resolution drone photography and 4K video.
We provide high-resolution aerial photography and 4K video to help farmers, landowners and estate managers inspect fields, crops and rural land from above.
Our drone imagery can help document visible issues such as patchy growth, waterlogging, flattened crops, storm damage, blocked access routes, damaged boundaries, visible signs of possible drainage issues and areas that are difficult or time-consuming to inspect from ground level.
This is a practical visual inspection service using a high-resolution standard camera. It can highlight areas that may warrant closer inspection, but it does not provide multispectral analysis, crop-health diagnosis, yield forecasting, soil analysis or agronomic advice.
What can be inspected?
Aerial photography and video can provide a useful overview of fields and rural land, helping to identify and document visible changes or areas of concern.
Our service may be suitable for:
-
Patchy or uneven crop growth
-
Waterlogged areas
-
Flattened crops following severe weather
-
Visible wildlife or machinery damage
-
Missed drilling or spraying lines
-
Damaged tracks and access routes
-
Field boundaries, hedges and ditches
-
Storm damage and fallen trees
-
Paddocks, grazing land and rural estates
-
Difficult-to-access areas of land
The imagery can also be shared with agronomists, contractors, land agents, landlords, tenants or insurers where appropriate.

Typical times for an aerial inspection may include:
-
After drilling
-
During early crop establishment
-
Following heavy rain or storms
-
During the growing season

Understanding the limitations
Our service provides standard colour photography and video similar to what would be seen by the human eye, but from an elevated viewpoint.
The imagery may reveal visible variations in crop coverage, colour, surface water or physical damage. However, it cannot reliably identify the underlying cause of poor growth or plant stress.
The service does not include:
-
Multispectral or thermal imaging
-
NDVI or crop-health mapping
-
Diagnosis of disease or nutrient deficiency
-
Soil testing or soil analysis
-
Yield prediction
-
Pesticide or fertiliser recommendations
-
Professional agricultural or agronomic advice
-
Survey-grade mapping or boundary measurement
Any areas of concern identified through the imagery should be assessed by the farmer, landowner or an appropriately qualified agricultural professional.

Safe and responsible drone operation
All flights are carefully planned and carried out in accordance with current UK drone regulations.
Before flying, we consider:
